Actor Gary Sinise and Lt. Dan Band to play in Highland Park for July 4 ceremony

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. — Illinois native and actor Gary Sinise will bring his "Lt. Dan Band" to this year's Highland Park July 4 remembrance ceremony. The 'Forrest Gump' and 'CSI:NY' actor graduated from Highland Park High School in 1974. Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering told the Chicago Tribune that Sinise visited shortly after last year's mass shooting. HARTWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Tuesday, a Waterford man was arrested following an investigation into a stolen dump trailer. Police say the dump trailer was stolen from a residence and that the suspect, Christopher L. Crispell, 40, attempted to sell it on Facebook Marketplace. PERTH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Wednesday, Robin Kelly, 43, of Perth, was arrested for the felonies of welfare fraud, grand larceny, and filing a false instrument. According to police, Kelly allegedly filed false paperwork with the Department of Social Services and received $2,885 in benefits she was not entitled to.
