I'm in a bit of a spot. I live next door to my sister and her kids. I always keep an eye on their home whenever they're away. Last week, my sister and her husband went away for a romantic four day trip, and while they were gone, her kids, my nephews, had a huge house party. I'm very close with my nephews, but I don't think they should have had that party without their parents knowing. Now they're begging me not to say anything, but I gave my word to my sister that I would let her know what was going on. Should I tell her about the party the kids had, or should I just let it go? Hope you can help. Thanks. AnnaListen, I'm the "cool" Aunt too, but I think I would have to tell my sister what happened. I would probably downplay it, and make sure the kids cleaned up everything so that there was no s...Two dead, one alive after fatal shootings in St. Louis involving three crime scenes

Dear Amy: I had a wonderful relationship with my in-laws while my ex-husband and I were married. However, following our divorce, he and I no longer speak. He’s also asked me NOT to reach out or talk to his family. His sister and his father have respected his wishes and have never reached out to me. Honestly, I found this very hurtful. His mother called a few times over the past year, mostly around the holidays, and each time it was difficult and painful to talk to her.I never initiated any communication. At Christmas she left me a voicemail crying about how much she missed me and missed having her family together. She implied that I wasn’t doing well, and that hurt my feelings, too.I did not call her back and have not talked to her since.Around Easter, she sent a card, noting how much she missed me and how much she loved me.Again, I did not respond, but she did ask my son during a visit if I ever received a card from her. She did the same on Mother’s Day.I find it to be very hurtful.I a...Moldova says Europe summit signals unity in face of Russia's war

NATO peacekeepers guarded town halls in ethnically polarized north Kosovo for a third day on Wednesday (31 May) as Serbia's defence minister inspected troops deployed near the border with its former province after violent unrest this week. The disturbances prompted NATO to send additional troops to the area and the alliance and the West slammed Kosovo for not having done enough to prevent violence, during which 30 NATO troops and 52 ethnic Serb protesters were hurt on Monday.NATO said it would send 700 more troops to boost its 4,000-strong mission in Kosovo, where Serbs are angry that a 2013 deal to set up an association of autonomous municipalities where they form a majority in the north has never been implemented.Regional unrest has intensified since April elections that Serbs in north Kosovo boycotted, leaving victory in four Serb-majority mayoralties to candidates from Kosovo's 90% ethnic Albanian majority. After they were installed last week despite a 3.5% election turnout, the U...NATO has been keeping an eye on Moldova's skies as European leaders gathed
