One Person Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 [Los Angeles, CA] Pedestrian-Auto Collision near Alameda Street Resulted in DeathLOS ANGELES, CA (July 12, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a pedestrian crash on Highway 101 claimed the life of one person.The fatal collision happened on July 11th, at around 5:00  a.m. on Highway 101 at Alameda Street, near North Los Angeles Street.At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear, but a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes.The identity of the deceased victim or the involved driver remains undisclosed to the public.Following the crash, officials blocked at least three lanes of the southbound side of Highway 101 to perform cleanup and preliminary duties. Meanwhile, the far right lane remained open for motorists.
