The Colorado woman who was hit by a train after officers locked her in the back of a police SUV that was parked on railroad tracks in Weld County pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge Friday after prosecutors dropped a felony charge against her.Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, 21, will avoid jail time if she follows the conditions of her deferred sentence and completes 10 hours of community service, according to court records.Rios-Gonzalez was stopped by Fort Lupton and Platteville police officers on Sept. 16 after a 911 caller told dispatchers she’d flashed a gun at him during a road rage incident. A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after the personal watercraft he was operating collided with a boat on the Colorado River Sunday afternoon.The crash at about 5:40 p.m. occurred near Needles Marina, just south of the Needles Bridge, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. The teen was headed south on the river when he "turned in front of" the boat, and "both operators were unable to avoid the collision," the release said.The boy was airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for "major injuries," authorities said. 33-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Spruce AvenueSILVER SPRINGS, NV (July 3, 2023) – Wednesday morning, William David Hulsey was killed in a motorcycle collision on US Alt 95.The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m., near Spruce Avenue.Per reports, the rider of a 2017 Suzuki GSK_R1000 motorcycle was heading south on the highway. SAN JOSE — A man allegedly stabbed his mother to death inside a San Jose home on Friday, police said Monday.Amanueal Germay, 42, was arrested on suspicion of homicide and later booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.Police say they arrested him at a home on the 200 block of South 14th Street, where officers were called about a reported stabbing at around 7:55 a.m. Friday.
