SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The BART station at 16th and Mission streets is closed due to police activity, the transit agency tweeted. Muni is providing bus service between Civic Center and 24th and Mission on buses 9R and 14R, BART said. (KRON) -- A Bay Area mother and son led police on a high-speed chase from American Canyon, to Vallejo, to Richmond, according to investigators. Eddy Perez, 41, of San Pablo, and his 66-year-old mom, Janet Perez, were booked into a Napa County jail following the chase, the American Canyon Police Department stated.The incident began at 4:30 p.m. Sunday when ACPD officers pulled over a black Chevy Impala with no license plates on Highway 29 near Poco Way. "The driver refused to identify himself or provide a driver’s license to officers during the stop, claiming he was a sovereign citizen, and that he did not have to comply with officer’s directions, or laws of the government," ACPD wrote. (KDVR) -- A woman working at a Black Hawk casino is facing theft charges for allegedly taking half a million dollars from a cash cage earlier this month.FOX31 obtained court documents for the incident. An investigator with the Division of Gaming for the State of Colorado said that the incident happened on March 12 at the Monarch Casino at 488 Main Street.The investigator, along with surveillance operators for the casino, said video showed cashier Sabrina Eddy reach into the money cage and take out stacks of cash on multiple occasions. A large police presence could be seen in Charlestown Tuesday afternoon after what started as an attempted traffic stop turned into an hours-long search for an armed suspect.Authorities said it all started around 12:30 p.m. when police pulled over a green Dodge due to the driver having open warrants.The vehicle went on to crash on Terminal Street in Charlestown, careening into a guardrail.The suspect was then able to take off, leaving the vehicle behind.
