SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The man accused of stabbing a 64-year-old woman to death inside a Duboce Triangle building has been charged with murder, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced Thursday. Jesus Esparza, 41, was arrested immediately after the homicide and has remained in custody since. Mei Ran Hu, 64, was identified by San Francisco city supervisors as the victim. BUENA VISTA, Colo. (KDVR) -- An 11-year-old girl was injured by a mountain lion when it swatted her in the face, Colorado Parks and Wildlife said Thursday. The attack occurred Wednesday when the girl went into the family chicken coop and found a dead chicken. She opened the door to the hen house and that's when the young mountain lion swatted her in the face, leaving a puncture wound. The girl was treated at a Chaffee County hospital for the small puncture wound on her face and released.
