ST. LOUIS - Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year for air travelers, and large crowds are expected at St. Louis Lambert International Airport through this weekend. Just like any other time of the year, one important decision for air travelers to make comes down to this: How do you get to the airport? If you don't have a friend or family member able to drop you off, it could be costly. Your other options basically come down to catching a taxi, using a rideshare service (like Uber) or parking near the airport to catch a shuttle to your terminal. Parker Gabriel, Broncos beat reporter: Happy Thanksgiving, dudes. The Denver Broncos football club, somewhat inexplicably, has provided us with a cornucopia of interesting storylines over the past month-plus. A team that at one point might have had the pick of the 2024 quarterback litter now is tied for the longest active winning streak in the National Football League. It’s at four games and another defensive stalwart and AFC contender comes to Denver this weekend in the Cleveland Browns. The 7-3 Cleveland Browns. So, this week’s roundtable question is not about who wins the game Sunday but who comes out on top when these two meet again in the AFC Championship Game. OK, that was a lame joke. The question, actually, is at what point will you consider the Broncos honest-to-goodness playoff contenders? Maybe you already do, though the computers say otherwise at this point. I’m saying they’ve got to win two of the next three. Of Denver and its three upcoming oppo...The fallacy of sovereignty

Action for Democracy condemns in the strongest possible terms the "sovereignty protection" bill submitted to the Hungarian National Assembly yesterday evening, which uses our organization's activities as a pretext to launch a vicious attack on free and independent civil society in Hungary. For the third time in the last six years, the Orbán regime is attempting to delegitimize political and social opposition, civil society organizations and initiatives, and ultimately all organizations over which it has no control. The leader of the Fidesz parliamentary group, Máté Kocsis, made no secret of the fact that the law aims to disempower "left-wing journalists and pseudo-civils", which paints a very worrying picture of how the Fidesz government thinks about institutions independent of government overreach. The clear intention of this Putin-style draft bill is to make the independent press and civil society, and to exclude and stigmatise civic organizations to an extent that draws worry...Latest news
